About us

The Sabriyah Mickiyah Lumb Foundation was founded in memory of a beloved expecting mother, Sabriyah Mickiyah Lumb, who tragically passed away in a severe car accident while expecting. We are dedicated to helping women and children in need by hosting drives for essential baby items and providing motivational resources to mothers. Our mission is simple - we strive to honor the legacy of Sabriyah and ensure her light shines forever through our actions. Our vision is for every woman and child to experience hope and joy within their lives, just as Sabriyah did during hers.

Our Mission is to create a hub of love, for mothers and mothers to be, to gain access to essentials for their babies.

OUR STORY

A tragic story turned into heartwarming, kindness, and generosity amidst heartbreak.

Mr. & Mrs.Lumb founded the Sabriyah M. Lumb Foundation (SML Foundation) in March 2021 to honor their beloved daughter Sabriyah who was with child in a fatal car accident. Sabriyah is remembered for her nurturing spirit and loving nature. She is celebrated by many in different ways all year long. Together we host fundraisers on her birthday to provide families with resources i.e.: infant clothing, blankets, diapers, breast-feeding supplies, safety supplies, formula, toys and strollers. The SML Foundation sponsors toy drives and offers life 1:1 and group life coaching classes to improve the lives of young mothers.

Sabriyah loved infants and children.

Her passion developed at an early age, elementary through high school. Any season of the year, you could find her volunteering to aid pre-school instructors and special needs educators. Her college major was Early Childhood Education.

The SML Foundation will continue to donate to families in need. On or near Sabriyah’s birthday, the Foundation will host an annual community baby shower, collecting baby items to donate in honor of Sabriyah. The Foundation was established to further Sabriyah’s dreams, goals, and passions. The focus of the foundation’s work will be in Delaware County communities and Philadelphia County.

Our Vision

Unlock opportunities, support, and strengthen families by providing resources, social skills, and activities for successful early childhood development.
