Lhakpa is 13 years old and he is from the central part of Bhutan called Wangdi. Before coming to SML, he used to live with his aunt as both his parents abandoned him after their divorce. He also used to go to school and attended till 4th standard. He has one younger brother and one younger sister. In future he wants to become a teacher (Lopen in Dzongkhag) and says he is happy at SML.
